Diamond Head will now be supporting Thin Lizzy on their upcoming UK tour for 14 dates in November and December.

Queensryche were due to support Thin Lizzy, but have had to pull out due to personal reasons. DH are delighted at this opportunity to be playing such prestigious venues with the legendary Thin Lizzy.

As I understand, tickets are still available for many venues, so anybody wanting to catch this great double bill should get their tickets soon

Check the gigs page at the DH site for full info

WOW that is absolutely amazing.

I posted a message last week on the Planet Rock forum telling everyone that Queensryche had pulled out and I said that I was sure that either Diamond Head or Blitzkrieg would be only too happy to be the support band and I've just found out there just now that it is indeed DIAMOND HEAD. Absolutely awesome news. Still in a state of shock at this superb news.

Queensryche are great but I'd rather have Diamond Head any day of the week.

Excellent news. I was originally going to go to this gig (although hadn't got tickets yet). When Queensryche pulled out I decided not to go, as I'm a big fan of Thin Lizzy but not the current line-up. Definitely going to go now - what an opportunity for Diamond Head! Wonder if DH will play Black Rose? Smile (They played it on the Irish tour)
