Cool! Cool

That's 7:00-9:00 p.m. EST. Unless something really unusual happens I should be home to try to tune in via the Internet.

Which bands/songs are you planning on playing?

Erm, so far not too sure. At the moment I am running for election to the Student Union, and am run off my feet. However, I was thinking of doing the first half of the show as a Ronnie James Dio special and then plugging bands I like that I think are very under-rated (e.g. DH) in the latter half Very Happy

Sleeper, I really enjoyed your radio show last Friday, and congrats on winning the election!

I sent an e-mail to the station during the show reminding Sleeper to play some Diamond Head and he played Lightning To The Nations and Borrowed Time.

How about one from All Will Be Revealed or It's Electric on the next show? Wink That's my request! Very Happy

Everyone else reading this, you really should tune in and don't forget to send e-mail during the show!

No problem, the second half is going to be NWOBH so it will be very easy to fit in and you can never have enough DH! Also, I'll be playing a track off Saxon's new album.

Thank you for your kind words and e-mail Very Happy

I enjoyed the latest edition of the show, even in spite of the glitch with the mp3 thingy you managed all right, Sleeper! Having your girlfriend on the show with you was quite a suprise Laughing It was interesting hearing what she had to say about things too, including about meeting Diamond Head! Will she be making a return appearnce on the show? Maybe another time you'll get to work out playing some old school L.A. Guns?

Did I hear you correctly that you're doing QUEEN on the next show? Yay! Still my all time favorite rock band. Between Queen, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night At The Opera, A Day At The Races, News Of The World, Jazz ... plenty of great classic & heavy tracks to choose from! My favorite heavy Queen song is Tie Your Mother down. That will be my request!

And more Diamond Head, right? Wink

She will, probabley, be making an return to the show, it's nice to walk in with her (as I mentioned on the show, I'm above a nightclub and so I have to flight my way through the drunks to get into teh studio, always nice to have someone else there!).

Also, you've just mentioned all the Queen albums that I was going to be playing off, so I hope you enjoy. And of course there's going to be some more DH, although not 3 songs this time! The second half was going to be the first wave of British heavy metal, so bands like Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin etc. Should be a good'un Smile

Sounds good, Sleeper! LZ is probably a given ... I've always liked Deep Purple.

Oh wow, I remember you two discussing night clubs but I missed the bit that the studio is above one! I just assumed it was in a building on the campus ... like one school I was at for a couple semesters ... the radio and TV station was in the mass communications building.

Hey, what happened to the show last Friday? Confused

I tuned in and all I got was DEAD AIR! Embarassed Sad

Sure, I can get out my records, CD's, etc. and do my own "programming" on the hi fi system but hearing the stuff on a radio program is pretty cool.

Hope everything is ok!

Sorry about that. The show was cancelled due to Ofcom rules, totally out of the stations control and I was informed until a few hours before the show, so I was pretty angry for awhile Mad

I was hoping to do out with a bang, I was going to give a rundown of all the gigs I've been to in the best 12 months (Which would mean quite a bit of DH considering I saw them 3 times on their last tour). Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the shows that were broadcast. I'm afraid no more LUSH for quite awhile, as our licence has run out and an FM licence for one month costs around $10,000, so I have no idea when we'll be back on-air, but I'll keep you posted!
