The Twist last night

Hello all,

the gig at The Twist last night was AWESOME! out of the 6 times I've been to see DHplay with Nick that has to be easily the best! DH are on great form, and anyone wavering on if to go and see them or not, you really should.

Anyway, I have a couple of treats for you from the gig.

First my friend Jack managed to get a copy of the set list, even signed by Nick and Abbz. So here it is:

And here is the back (does Nick struggle to remember the opening to Borrowed Time?):

And my two final treats are samples from the gig. I tried to bootleg the gig, but got so into the concert I forgot all about it and paid no attention to my recorder. That meant that I forgot to put the hold button on and it kept turning off and on. However, I did manage to record bits of it and here are two samples for you:

The latter is better quality

Good work fella! The samples sound really good... Thanks for an ace weekend, Colchester is certainly a pleasantly unusual place! Very Happy

No problems mate, I'm happy to show you around strange pubs anytime!

I'm stilling recovering a bit from the gig (sore neck, ringing ears, wonder at why I thought it was a good idea to charge around the Twist without a shirt on Shocked , etc). I was thinking of ringing injury lawers for you and claiming compensation for Brian Tatler writing even more monster riffs, it's not going my neck any good!

Anyway, for the rest of you, a few more things from the gig. Some great pictures have been posted on the web by TC, Chelmsford:

(btw, if Rich reads this, he doesn't mind you putting the photos in the gigs section as long a you credit him, in case you wanted to add some on this gig's page)

And for those of you that are going to see DH on the rest of the tour, the new songs are AWESOME, espcially Skin On Skin (that's a classic)

Hi,
I went to the gig at the Twist, you can find my brief review on this link:

It was a great night, I was very impressed as this was the first time I have seen Diamond Head despite following them since 1979/80.
Hopefully it wont be the last time I see them.

Rock on.

nice review there, pretty much sumed up the gig.

What did you think to the new material? I personally can't wait for the new album. My heart sank a little when Nick said it wasn't going to out till the end of the year Sad

I thought the new material was spot on. Really good.
Pity there wasn't more people there to appreciate the excellent nights entertainment.
.
Am I Evil was just awsome.

Take care.
