Tamworth

An excellent night in this great new venue. The boys were on top form and what's more, it was even filmed so keep your eyes peeled for the new video for This Planet & Me...

Ooooh a new video! Very cool. I can't wait!

Great pictures posted on the gigs page and I like the set list.

So has anyone else attended the recent gigs and have any reports, reviews, pictures, etc.?

PLEEEASE???

Don't be shy!

I'm just about begging y'all here!!! Wink

I did a report on the Italian GIG Hi-Fi if you want to read it. You can find it on the gig list with the set list and pics Smile
HiFi

Yes, I saw your review and great pix from the Padova show, Lloyd! Thanks! Very Happy

I'm letting everyone else know who reads this forum not to be shy about posting their reports and pictures! I know people are going to these gigs. Not everyone is as lucky as you guys to be able to go! Show the love and share! Very Happy

Tamworth gig

Caught this one, my first since the Mansfield gig. Another good solid performance, new songs becoming more comfortable. The hightlight was 'Am I Evil', I have heard this song so many times, both live and on various recordings, but the power, pace and delivery of this metal classic at Tamworth was simply awesome. We all know what an important song this is, having shaped a whole genre of music, but at Tamworth the band just took it to another level - worth the entry fee on its own.

I'm actually getting a little bored of this song, just heard it far too many times, as it's on soooo many albums (both DH and Metallica). I mentioned the idea to Brain about dropping it, he didn't seem too impressed!
Jack_still_fuckin_evil!

The look on his face was just classic! Shocked

Drop Am I Evil from the set....are you mad my friend!!!!????

We should drop you on your head! Shocked Very Happy

You can't get rid of that, it'd be like AC / DC not playing "The Jack" or no "The Good, the bad and the Ugly" just before Metallica play or like beans with no toast, or like cheese and no crackers! Rolling Eyes

Anyway! How you guys all doing, I been down at Myspace a bit and am snowed under with work....but I'm still watching you all from the side lines!

Hope everything is good with you all Smile

Things are going well here in ole Blighty! I'm just trying to get Leicester's first ever metal festival on its feet at the moment. Provisional line-up for October 18th looks a little like this:

Saxon
DH
Reuben
AR

Although, I have yet to have 100% confirmation on that, Saxon are a bit of a pain in the arse with their management being in Germany!

Oh well, fingers crossed (and spread the word!) Very Happy

Thats great Sleeper, if you pull it off I'll be getting a flight over Very Happy

To be honest I would not really care if It's Electric, Helpless and Am I Evil were all dropped from the set! Call me crazy but I do get fed up with loads of people standing still for the whole fucking gig and then going mad when those songs are played, usually pushing past all us guys who have stood at the front the whole time singing our lungs off!

However I do realise this is a totally ridiculous proposition, especially after Brian's response to Owen's above suggestion!

Three songs I would put in the set however in place of the three I have mentioned are...

Call Me
To Heaven From Hell
Lost At Sea

Oh well I can always dream Very Happy
