Aw, poor Lloydie!
Luckily I happen to have a set of head phones in my car ... not gonna spend time explaining why that is ...
I do have speakers on my work computer but I don't think everyone on the 4th floor appreciates DH the way I do and about the only good way to listen to these tracks is LOUD!!!

I've given then a listen, although only once (I'm trying to sort out my setlist for tonight's show, so I'm listening to a lot of early Queen).
The songs are definatley different from their early stuff, much more modern. I'll give better opinions once I've had a better listen, shame that they are only one minute long!

Hey Lloyd, I found your thread regarding the Dh samples on the Megadeth site. Poor you having to battle it out with those ignorant fools!!!

Sometimes some of the posters on there are just like the BB mouth kids...nightmare.
Honestly just because someone likes HIM (which I happen to think is a great band) doesn't mean you have to castrate them!!!!
P.S. Hope you defended me on the thread!

I was wanting to check out the above described drama on the Megadeth board but I kept getting a screen that said I had to log in first! Is this one of those sites where you have to register before you get to have a look see? (here we need one of those *hrumph* smileys)

I'm afriad it is, although I'd recomend signing up as then you can read Mustaine's posts, which are always worth a read.
With regard to the thread in question, it was just a bunch of idiots that think Metallica wrote Am I Evil? and thought Diamond Head were an EMO band, which threw me a little!!!

Hmmm ... I'm like you, Sleeper, not much for actually signing up for a whole bunch of boards. But I like to lurk around and "read"! I'm sure Dave Mustaine's posts are rather interesting ... he's usually pretty interesting when I read or hear his comments elsewhere.
I think it's good this board is "open". I can see there's a lot of "lurkers" reading it which means people are reading about Diamond Head and getting the news, even if they don't care to comment ... or are too shy to post!
*SIGH* it drives me crazy on most other boards these people who I swear make stupid comments just to draw attention to themselves ...
 The whole Metallica/Am I Evil? thing ... even though I'm here in the U.S.A. it's been so long since I've met much of anyone offline with musical tastes similar to mine and could have that discussion ... it hasn't happened. So all I know is what I know and I'm one who takes the time and bother to research things. With a few exceptions I've always leaned toward being more into bands from the U.K. than American bands and like to think I've learned to take notice as to the original composers of songs.
HIM - I did buy Razorblade Romance on CD. I played it a whole bunch of times but it didn't grab me at all so I turned around and sold it on half.com - got a pretty good price for it too!
