More Tour datesI see there are more tour dates up on the gig list, looking good so far. Still waiting for a Leicester show to appear. With all that talk of Hifi's old DH vid, wouldn't it be great for them to make a return to Leicester Uni!?, well for me anyway

Sleeper, in your association with the radio station (or any other association) do you happen to know the people who book the shows for Leicester Uni?
Maybe you can direct them to the link at the top of the Gigs page which says:
For anybody interested in booking the band, please e-mail either; here or here
Seems simple enough to me but like I've admitted before I'm just a music lover with no notion of how the "business" end of music really works.

Good to see some more local dates that are a bit more within reach. Leicester would be within easy reach of me in Loughborough. Seriously considering the York venue as it's quite close to my hometown of Hull. If i can get my mate to drive me up there.
I think I'll have to run for some official events position at Loughborough Uni and try to pull some strings...

Loughborough Uni would be great for me, so go for it. I was also considering York, as my gf lives in Mirfield, just have to enbrace her sister again
I was wondering if DH are going to try and go for Monsters of Rock again?

Ahhh Monsters of Rock this year?
Are we talking the Milton Keynes MOR or are we talking Download at Donington?
I saw the line up for Download at Donington and it's like all weird!
Here we have Gods of Metal and it's three days of just good Rock / Heavy bands. Like Ozzy, Megadeth, Dream Theatre etc (organized by Satan himself, yep you guessed it, the guys at Live Nation....anyone up for a game of Monopoly?)
I know you can't deviate too much from the type of groups you have on with a name of the event being "Gods of Metal" but Donington is known for being a no-balls Rock / Heavy metal festival so when you decide to put Maiden on the Sunday night, I cannot see how My Chemical Romance and Linkin Park can headline the other two nights...all good bands but nothing like the old days when Kiss and Ozzy were on the same bill.
Well all I guess I am trying to say is "who decided the line-up?" at least it will be a good mix of groups for all who go (as I see you have to buy a three day ticket and cannot just go for one day). Only thing is, will it work? Kind of like eating a nice steak with fish sauce, I am sure it's tasty but it ain't going to be that easy to digest is it now?!
P.S. Sleeper you on here on a Sunday? Your a student goddamit! whatever happened to the original Sunday morning hangover? Shame on you!

I was reffering to the MK Monsters of Rock, much easier for me to get to even if I do have to go to Milton Keynes (right hell hole)!
I agree with you that the people who run Download have gone a bit off the pase over the past few years. I mean, what were Feeder doing headlining a few years back. Although at least Megadeth are making a welcome return.
As for my hangover, I've given up drinking and 2am Kebabs for lent. Should help my wallet a little! having said that, I did go out with a bang (a week long bang), I find things are a lot easier once you get used to drinking on a hangover .
P.S.
I'm sure you're pleased with the Italy result yesterday against Scotland!

Will have to check out Monsters of Rock on the web, I didnt know it was on again this year.
I wouldn't be suprised if Gene $immon$ plays this year. Talking of Gene I got to see Rock Skool on tape and was wondering, did that Little Chris actually release an album
As for the Rugby...
I don't know whats worse, the fact that Italy finally beat someone, or the humiliation I stand from my colleagues tomorrow for the poor England show against Ireland!
P.S. Sleeper, there are two things in life I have learnt that are not true. The first is a politician that says "well, if I get into power I can assure you that I will change *insert random lie here*"
and the second is a student that says
"Yep, I'm off the drink for a bit...."
seeings as it's lent though, I'll believe you this time round!
