Mansfield GigCaught the band at the Intake Club in Mansfield, first time I have seen them since the Shed in Leicester (which was the first outing for Abs).
The band hit the stage with their usual confidence and ripped straight into Mine all Mine before entering the best NWOBHM back catalogue on the market. All the standards were there including an upgraded version of To the Devil His Due, which was much closer to the album track in than in previous live shows, making you realise what great heavy song that number is. The new material was strong and tight with the emphasis on power. A personal treat for me was the encore of Wild on the Streets, a much better choice from Death and Progress than I Can't Help Myself which has been the only representative from that album over the past couple of years.
This is my first post by the way, followed the band since Donnington 83 and have never looked back, seen every incarnation since then and usually try and get to several gigs each tour. Will be doing Tamworth and possibly York, also fancy a trip over to Holland - anybody interested?

I am thinking about the Holland one as would be a great weekend, I shall look on Ryan air and if I do go I shall duly post here!
Did they play This planet and me? They did that one in Italy and it was a great track, also Skin on Skin was bloody fantastic!

*SIGH* I guess Southwest Airlines will be adding $199 flights to London around the same time pigs fly ... and I still haven't managed to hit Lotto (YET) for some "traveling money" ... 
Well, keep those reports and pictures, etc. coming! I just love reading about the shows!

Yes they played the new songsBoth sounded good, as do the samples and stuff on myspace. Keep posting re the holland gig(s). Sorry not everyone can go! Most interesting was the insertion of the Ishmael solo at the end of a song, not sure if it was Heat of the Night or To the Devil His Due, nice treat though, was waiting for the full track!
