Borrowed Time tour videoIn the merchandise leaflet from the Borrowed Time 1982 tour, there is a video advertised (VHS or Betamax ) Filmed at the Hammersmith Odeon during the Borrowed Time tour.
Anyone know if the filming did take place and if the video was released?

Wow! Sorry I can't help you out on that one but I can't help looking at the price and remembering that's when videos used to cost the big bucks. That would have been about $60 USD and I remember paying about $99 for a favorite film on VHS.
I haven't seen that video turn up on ebay ... and I would certainly have noticed it but likely not even tried to buy it since I probably wouldn't be able to play it here.
After seeing those Look/Hear videos turn up on You Tube, now I figure anything is possible!

Yes, the price shocked me as well, but videos were relatively highly priced then.
I'm not sure if this was ever released, as it's not listed in the Canterbury tour merchandise leaflet.
One thing I wish I'd bought from the Canterbury tour is the Diamond Head mirror. Now that is cool!

Oh wow, mirrors! That's another blast from the past. I don't think I've seen mirrors with band names and logos in AGES!
Hmmm ... so possibly sometimes the band anticipated doing a video but then didn't actually release it for whatever reasons?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Maybe the shoot didn't produce sufficiently good quality footage, or there were logistical problems?
The only footage I know of from 1982 is the Borrowed Time Promotional film, shot at Manchester Odeon.

Found the answer here -> http://www.wikstromtree.org/_3music/dh/dh_nl3.html
The shoot was abandoned due to technical difficulties
This is a great site for Diamond Head info -> http://www.wikstromtree.org/_3music/dh/dh.htm

Yip that's a great site for loads of DH stuff - only had a quick look - I've also got the Fan Club Newsletters Numbers 1 to Number 7 as well and also the 1983 Christmas Card. I was just flicking through some of the stuff I've got and looked at the DH Official Fan Club Merchandising Leaflet and the mirrors are on the back page - they were only £9.99 or £8.50 to the fanclub members. The Diamond Head mugs look ultra cool as well at only £1.85 (or £1.60 for fanclub members).
