All Will Be Revealed

All Will Be Revealed

Easily one of the best new releases of 2005 as far as I’m concerned. Ok, objectively, one of the best but subjectively THE best!

I managed to get my hands of a copy of the 2005 Tour Limited Edition when the extra copies were offered up on the web site after the tour with Megadeth so I was enjoying the album a good 6-7 months before its commercial release, of which I also bought a copy!

I have to admit the one thing I was somewhat apprehensive about was the “new singer”. The whole was it still going to be Diamond Head without Sean’s voice and since I had never heard any of Nick Tart’s singing before, was he going to be someone I could even stand listening to, knowing how most newer rock bands have vocals I really can’t stand (either that guttural or whiney sounding thing).

From the first note I heard on All Will Be Revealed it grabbed on to me and didn’t let me go until the final note on the final song on the album. I thought the “new guy” sounded fantastic and Nick immediately became one of my new favorite lead vocalists in a rock band. Brian played great as always and the rest of the band sounded really good too. All the songs sounded rock solid to me and I was impressed with the lyrics too. That was my FIRST impression of the All Will Be Revealed! It has only gotten better from there and AWBR is still in my regular listening rotation and commuting music.

After that first listen to AWBR I thought, yeah, Diamond Head is back! And how!

Fully aggre with you there. I can't think of another album that came out that year that came close. Best thing the metal world has seen since The System Has Failed.

I think it is also the best new record by a NWOBHM band this decade. Yes I am including Iron Maiden in this. I'd listen to it over Dance of Death or Matter of Life and Death any day.

It is lovely breath of fresh air.

I first heard it when I went to see Megadeth and was blown away with Nick's voice and then blown away once more when the opening lines of Mine All Mine were belted through my lucky ears. I could believe just how much heavier it was compared to Death and Progress. I'm am normally very fussy on paying over £8 of a CD. However, when I saw it in HMV the fact it was the most expensive CD on the rack didn't put me off. Just had to have it. Would have got it at the Astoria but anyone who has been there and had to experience the bouncers trying to clear the arena will understand why I couldn't!

This album is classic DH and I love every song. How many other bands are writing their best stuff 30 years on?
mine all mine

Couldn't have said it better myself guys! LOVE this cd! I'd give just about anything to see these guys live! Nick Tart is definitely the man for the job. DH won't a miss a beat with him as frontman, in fact they will be better than ever IMO.

I'm just listening to this album right now and it just so reminds me of last summer. All the care free feelings and contentness that surrounded me last summer just came flowing back. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I think it's because I listened to this album back to back all the time (espcially inbetween the leicester gig and Milton Keynes)! I loved walking down the halls corridor and having it filled with Diamond Head from my mate who borrowed the album off me, and look where he ended up (bloke in the Alice Cooper shirt, the demin arm is mine!)-

Ah so many memories connected with this album, like teaching my gf to air guitar before the Leicester gig!!! Laughing (we'd both had a few - I think it was around the world cup time).

I'll stop going down memory lane now. C'mon post-exams-pre-end-of-uni summertime Razz !
