I have tickets for the Lizzy and Queensryche gig at the Ipswich Regent.
Very dissapointed to learn of Queensryche dropping out.
Very pleased to learn that Diamond Head replacing them.
I missed the last DH gig in Colchester (was there last year though) so the Ipswich bash will be a great replacement.
Especially if Town beat Cardiff earlier the same day
.
Went to see the Quo (5th time for me seeing the Quo) at the Ipswich Regent last Sunday. I was lucky enough to win tickets from Planet Rock. Awsome, what a great live band the Quo are ) |

Guys, DH kick off supporting Thin Lizzy on the 26th with the first support slot being in Nottingham. They won't be at the Cambridge, Ipswich or Leicester shows.
Which means one thing. We shall just have to go and see them at all the other gigs too! |

Well the guys are doing 14 dates and Thin Lizzy 17, the press release says they are joining Thin Lizzy from Nottingham onwards, here is the press release bit....
"After an extensive European tour culminating in closing the inaugural Hard Rock Hell festival last weekend, we are pleased to announce that Diamond Head will be supporting Thin Lizzy on 14 dates of their UK tour. The Thin Lizzy tour kicks off in Leicester on Thursday 22nd November, and will see Diamond Head joining them as support band with the first gig being at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall on the 26th November. The tour will take the band around the UK to play some prestigious venue with the last show being at the legendary Hammersmith Apollo." |

yeah, saying that though, I would go to the Hammersmith show, that is a great venue and to be able to see TL and DH there on the same night will be 30 quid well spent. Legendary venue is the Hammersmith Apollo. |
